Karnataka records 195 fresh Covid-19 cases – Mysuru Today

Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Vaccine, Bengaluru, September 27:- Karnataka on Monday (September 26) logged 195 fresh Covid-19 cases and no deaths related to the virus were recorded.

The active cases in the State stands at 3,012, according to a bulletin released by the state Health Department. Bengaluru Urban district’s single-day tally is at 137.

No fatalities related to the coronavirus were recorded in the State on Monday. The death toll in the State remains static at 40,239.

The state recorded 365 discharges from hospitals on Monday, taking the total discharges to 40,20,540. Karnataka has seen 40,63,833 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.01 percent and the weekly positivity rate is at 1.51 percent.

The Health Department conducted 9,675 tests including the RT-PCR methods in the State on Monday. A total of 5,572 passengers were screened at the airports in Karnataka.

As many as 11,99,08,646 people have been given anti-Covid vaccines in the State so far. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
