NFL COVID-19 tracker: Jaylen Waddle, Allen Robinson, Taylor Heinicke among more than 110 players on COVID list

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the NFL. Several high-profile players have missed games this season after testing positive for the virus, and more players will undoubtedly miss time during the final month of the 2021 regular season.

On Tuesday, a day after nearly 40 players landed on COVID/reserve, the Browns placed eight players on their COVID-19 list ahead of their Week 15 game against the Raiders, then added a handful more — including quarterback Baker Mayfield — on Wednesday. On Thursday, three star wide receivers went on the COVID list as the Dolphins added emerging rookie Jaylen Waddle. The Seahawks added Tyler Lockett, who is Russell Wilson’s top target, while the Bears added No. 1 wideout Allen Robinson and four others.

On Friday, Washington added quarterback Taylor Heinicke to the list, putting street free agent Garrett Gilbert in line to potentially start for the Football Team on Tuesday against the Eagles. Meanwhile, Miami activated running backs Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed, giving them a chance to play Sunday pending how they look in practice. And the Browns added defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to their growing list.

Washington’s defense received crucial reinforcements Saturday, as Jonathan Allen and Montez Sweat were among the four defensive linemen activated. The Rams also received good news Saturday, as the team activated receiver Odell Beckham Jr., running back Darrell Henderson, defensive back Dont’e Deayon, linebacker Justin Hollins, tight end Brycen Hopkins, and tackle Alaric Jackson

Here’s an updated look at each team’s current COVID-19 situation, specifically which players are on COVID reserve:
